Return & Refund Policy

Healthy Soil, Food & People Pvt Ltd (Millet Republic India) LasArt updated: 17 October 2026

 

This policy applies to orders placed on healthysoilfoodandpeople.com and delivered within India. Orders from our Australia (milletaustralia.com) and Canada (milletrepublic.ca) stores follow the policies published on those sites.

Our millets are food products, soaked, sprouted, steamed and sun-dried on our Punjab farm and packed in food-grade packaging under ISO 22000:2018 food safety standards. For hygiene and safety reasons, we can only accept returns as described below.

1. Return window

You can request a return within 7 days of delivery.

​

2. Items we accept for return

  • Unopened products: sealed packs in their original, undamaged packaging, within the best-before date.

  • Damaged, defective or incorrect items: packs damaged in transit, the wrong product or pack size, missing items, or a quality problem (for example an off smell, moisture or infestation). Please report these within 48 hours of delivery with photos or a short video of the pack and shipping box.

3. Items we cannot accept

  • Opened or used packs (unless there is a quality problem reported within 48 hours)

  • Products returned after the 7-day window

  • Products damaged by improper storage after delivery

  • Combo packs with one or more packs opened

​

4. Exchanges

We offer a free replacement of the same product for damaged, defective or incorrect items. Unopened products can be exchanged for a different product within 7 days; any price difference will be charged or refunded.

5. Return shipping costs

  • Our error (damaged, defective, wrong or missing item): return shipping is free. In most cases we will not ask you to send the item back; we may arrange a pickup if needed.

  • Change of mind (unopened products): the customer pays return shipping and sends the item by a trackable courier to the address below.

We do not charge any restocking fee.

6. How to request a return

  2. Include your order number, the product(s), the reason, and photos or video where relevant.

  3. We will reply within 2 business days with next steps. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.

7. Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected (or your damage claim is approved), we will confirm your refund within 2 business days.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Online payments are processed through Razorpay and normally reach your account within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank.

  • For damaged, defective or incorrect items, you will receive a full refund including the original shipping charge. For change-of-mind returns, the original shipping charge is not refunded.

8. Order cancellations

You can cancel your order for a full refund at any time before it is dispatched. Once dispatched, the order follows this return policy.
